GB Landrigan, CRS, CLHMS
Ranked in the one percent of all non-team Washington Township agents for transactions*, GB Landrigan was just out of college when he started helping friends buy and sell their homes. Just as his REALTOR father and grandfather did for decades, he sold what he knew.
The Indianapolis North Side, Midtown, and Downtown are in his blood -- the history of the homes, the personalities, the tucked-away gems, and, of course, its unique and varied housing market. Of the eight generations of GB's family who have been Hoosiers, four have called the Indianapolis north side their home. He lives in the Meridian Hills area today after growing up in Butler-Tarkington, Avalon Hills, and Crows Nest. He also lived in Downtown's St. Joseph's neighborhood for several years.
GB has served on the board of directors of the MIBOR REALTOR® Association, its Broker Strategic Advisory Committee, and is a long-time member of MIBOR's Professional Standards committee (ethics). He serves on the National Association of Realtors' Idea Exchange Council for Brokers as a regional representative for 2026. He is also a member of the National Association of Realtors' (NAR) Residential Real Estate Council (RRC) and the Real Estate Buyer's Agent Council (REBAC). GB is one of just 3% of REALTORS nationally to have earned his Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) designation, the highest designation available for residential real estate brokerage.
He has earned the Accredited Buyers Representative (ABR) designation and is a "Guild"-level Certified Luxury Home Marketing Specialist (CLHMS) designee of the Institute of Luxury Home Marketing, the highest designation for this niche market. He also holds the RRC’s Luxury Home Certification, is a certified MIBOR's Master Professional (MPRO), and is a fellow of MIBOR’s Real Estate Academy of Leadership (REAL). GB has also been awarded the Five-Star Professional Award fifteen times, including 2026, and was named a Top Agent by Indy Real Producers in 2026. He also holds the At Home with Diversity certification from NAR and served on MIBOR's Grievance Committee (preliminary ethics).
Landrigan also publishes the GB Landrigan Monthly real estate report. The report is an “early-bird” statistical report that reflects monthly trends in Central Indiana with a special emphasis on Indianapolis' Washington Township.

Other Work
Landrigan was an appointed commissioner on the Meridian Street Preservation Commission and has also served on the boards of the Meridian Street Foundation, Butler-Tarkington Neighborhood Association, Contemporary Club, Crown Hill Historical Society, Meridian In Bloom home tours, and the Beta Theta Pi Housing Corporation at Wabash College. He is a past president of Indianapolis Early Music and the Indianapolis Dramatic Club. He also enjoys helping to sort food at Gleaner’s Food Bank each month and is a new member of the Scientech Club. His interests include Indianapolis and Russian history, reading both fiction and non-fiction, historic preservation and renewal, architecture, and design.
Family Roots in Indianapolis Real Estate
The roots of GB Landrigan & Company are among the deepest of Indianapolis real estate firms. G.B.'s grandfather, Bruce Savage, whose voice briefly took him to the Broadway stage, began work in real estate brokerage in 1940. His firm, the Bruce Savage Company, soon became the largest residential brokerage in Indiana. It centered on the sale of fine North Side and Downtown properties. In the late 1950s, Savage was appointed by President Eisenhower to be the head of the US Public Housing Commission, now known as HUD.
A few years after Savage returned to Indianapolis, his son-in-law Richard Landrigan became owner of the firm, later known as Savage/Landrigan. Landrigan had briefly served as the city’s second human rights commissioner after graduating from Butler. At a time when real estate firms were abandoning their specialties in favor of a much wider audience, he made the choice to retain the company's traditional emphasis, while quietly expanding it to cover Carmel and other emerging North Side areas.
Landrigan died unexpectedly in 1984 and the firm closed several months later. In an article reporting the closure, the Indianapolis Business Journal remarked that Savage/Landrigan was one of the area's "oldest and most respected" real estate companies.
The following year, G.B. Landrigan entered real estate at the age of 21. Working with one of the larger firms in Indianapolis, he continued to specialize in the same areas as his father and grandfather. In 2005, he decided to launch GB Landrigan & Company as one of the Indianapolis area's few true boutique firms. At one point embracing ten agents in his firm, Landrigan realized that he is better suited to focusing on his own clientele. Today, he and associated non-team agent Gretchen Witt are based from offices at Keystone at the Crossing, just behind the Fashion Mall.
Knowledge of the current market and the area’s history, an emphasis on doing things correctly, the use of appropriate technology to help clients, never representing both sides of a transaction, and his personal availability are all ways that G.B. uses to help his clients leave a transaction as pleased as is possible.
